Organization Development of the Association

Initially Government allotted land in Siruseri, later Govt re allotted the same land to IT Sector.

Melakottiur was identified as another site, EIA conducted and public hearing held.

Due to the objections raised by the Public, project stopped.

Development in stages

As per Supreme court monitoring committee's directions, land area of 66 acres was identified in SIPCOT Industrial Complex, Gummidipoondi and allotted under G.O.No.67 dt.17.05.2005.

The Association has taken possession of the land on 19.8.2005 and handed over the site to TNWML.
